Company Updates
Introduced at GSX: Our New Generative AI Smart Search and LPR Solution
At the 2024 GSX trade show in Orlando, USA, our CEO Peter Strom unveiled two new AI-powered solutions: Generative AI Smart Search, and our new LPR Solution.
AI Smart Search uses generative AI and voice commands to simplify video searches. Users can quickly find video snapshots by asking for specific actions like “show me open cash registers” or “find empty shelves” or “show any red cars in the daytime”. This feature reduces manual video review time, improving security, compliance, and operations for customers.
The LPR Camera is ideal for banks, drive-thrus, and parking lots. It enhances customer service by recognizing VIPs, linking license plates to loyalty programs, and alerting to known offender vehicles.

March Networks Joins Aditel in France for 33rd AGM
The March Networks France team recently participated in the 33rd Forum of Aditel (Association des utilisateurs Interbancaires de télésurveillance) in Marseille, France. Aditel is a French association that focuses on improving security and surveillance systems across the banking sector in France.
Our CEO, Peter Strom, joined the team in Marseille, to discuss the latest security trends shaping the French financial sector. As a leading surveillance solutions provider for France’s banking industry – with customers like Groupe BCPE (Caisse d’Epargne, Banque Populaire, Crédit Coopératif etc.) – our team contributed to discussions on how financial institutions can protect their ATMs, and improve their security, efficiency and client experience using advanced video technology like AI, real-time alerts, and data analytics.

March Mulligans on the Golf Course
At our HQ in Ottawa, Canada this past month, the March Networks team was on the golf course at the Loch March Golf & Country Club and the Marshes Golf Club! Congratulations to all the employees who brought their A-game and everyone who participated. We were able to raise funds and donate to the Kanata Food Cupboard – a local charity in our Ottawa community that has been providing food to those in need for almost 40-years.

Last month we were proud to announce our support of Carleton University‘s Women in Engineering and Information Technology (WiE&IT) Program. As one of the first company-backed programs of its kind in Canada, our support will help provide mentorship, networking and soft skill development for women students in engineering and IT.

QSR Evolution
Our team was in Atlanta, USA, for the QSR Evolution Conference on September 4-5! Marchers Kim Young and Della Anderson showcased our products to customers and prospects.
Intersec Argentina
Our Latin American team was in Buenos Aires for Intersec Argentina on September 4-6! People who stopped by and booked a demo with Marchers Elias Oliveros and David Maldonado also learned about our camera-to-cloud solutions.
SFA Conference and WBA Secur-I.T. Conference
From September 10-11, Marcher Bailey Smith and Pavion joined forces at our booth in Wisconsin Dells, USA at the SFA Conference. Marcher Jim Pralle participated at the WBA Secur-I.T. Conference on September 15-18 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA!
IP-in-Action LIVE Lima EXPO Security & Conference
Our Marchers in Latin America also visited Peru to participate in the IP-in-Action Live Expo and Conference in Lima! Team members Elias Oliveros, Fernando Trujillo, Cesar Rico and Alvaro Labraña participated in some great conversations around the future of intelligent surveillance solutions!
APEX
Back in the States, our Marchers Net Payne, Della Anderson and Kim Young attended the 2024 Asset Protection Executive Exchange (APEX) on September 22-24! This unique event, created by executives for executives, was an opportunity for our team to share insights into how proactive video intelligence transforms retail, grocery, and C-Store operations.
Global Security Exchange
Several Marchers went down to Orlando, USA, for the Global Security Exchange (GSX) trade show September 23-25! Attendees experienced personalized demos of March Networks CloudSight and had a chance to win a CS Series camera.

Effective June 30, 2024 March Networks declared all 8704 Gen 2 Series Hybrid recorders and 8724V Series Tribrid IP recorders End-of-Life (EOL). March Networks will continue to provide bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds or patches for software bugs for these products. More information can be found at the links below:
