Purpose:

The E-Learning Media Coordinator is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining instructional online courses and exams on March Networks’ products for the benefits of channel partner certification.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of narrated video product tutorials using screen recording software, such as FlashBack or Loom
  • Record audio narration guiding others through tasks
  • Edit recorded video and audio of tutorials using FlashBack, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar video editing tools
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of online certification courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise 360, or other similar tools
  • Assist with the development of effective online certification exams
  • Work with the team to determine appropriate Learning Objectives for each online course following a product Training Plan
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts to create appropriate story boards for courses and incorporate the content within the online training material

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or College Diploma/Certificate in Video/Multimedia Production and/or Adult Learning Development; or 2 or more years of related experience in Instructional Design of computer networking or computer-based applications
  • Proficiency in designing interactive e-learning courses for the IT/Computer industry
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and assessment techniques as they apply to e-learning.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience developing interactive e-learning courses and tutorials within the high-tech industry
  • Demonstrates skill for course layout, navigation, and overall design
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Comfortable recording own voice for use in video narration
  • Proficiency in screen capture software such as FlashBack, or similar
  • Proficiency in media productions, such as audio narration and video editing
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise 360, or similar e-learning development tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent photo editor
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or other web content management systems
  • Must show comfort level in Windows operating systems, Windows 2016+ server operating systems, and networking equipment and terminology
  • Demonstrates creativity when developing content and have the ability to learn and use off the shelf tools with limited training
  • Ability to work on several projects at once under tight deadlines
