March Networks and SpeedLine Point of Sale Integration Helps Pizza Restaurants Protect Profits and Grow their Business

LAS VEGAS, NV; OTTAWA, ON – A new integration from intelligent IP video leader March Networks^® and premier pizza point of sale (POS) provider SpeedLine Solutions is helping pizza restaurants and other delivery operators reduce losses from shrink significantly, and improve overall performance using valuable insights into customer service, operations, compliance and other areas of their business.

The proven integration, already deployed by a Midwestern U.S. pizza chain, enables operators to find theft and fraud incidents more efficiently and conduct centralized investigations faster with powerful March Networks Searchlight^™ for Retail software and SpeedLine’s enterprise-class restaurant POS system. The software combines the POS transaction data with high-quality surveillance video from March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs. It provides restaurant operators with easy-to-use transaction summary and graphical reporting tools, enabling them to:

• search across multiple locations simultaneously by transaction type, amount or card number;
• quickly identify and visually verify suspect transactions; and
• gather strong case evidence, complete with synchronized video and receipt information, to improve apprehension and recovery rates.

The integrated solution also makes it easier for pizza and other delivery operators to adopt optional business analytics to help them better understand what’s happening in their restaurants. By incorporating analytics data captured by the MegaPX Indoor Analytics Dome IP camera, such as people counting, queue length and dwell time monitoring, the solution turns recorded video and POS transaction data into business intelligence. It enables operators to analyze and compare performance metrics – like customer wait times, promotional effectiveness and conversion rates – to identify trends over time and discover where improvements can be made.
