A reliable and effective video security system was necessary to provide security staff with an overview of the venue.
The Solution Washington University’s March Networks video surveillance system allowed campus police to equip a Joint Operations Center with workstations and monitors that gave the command team the visual overview they needed to assess and respond to any emergency. "One of the things I’ve learned is that it’s important to have all of the decision makers in the Joint Operations Center," said University Police Chief Don Strom. "But, at the same time, they also want to see what’s going on everywhere else."
